Job Overview

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will build, manage and optimize direct marketing programs to help practitioners improve their patients’ health with Natura Health Product’s professional line of botanical and nutritional formulations. You will play a critical role in driving the creation and delivery of innovative graphics and artwork that visually communicate Natura’s brand positioning. In partnership with the Business Strategy and Market Education Manager, you will report to the General Manager to develop comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns that drive brand loyalty, sales and education programs. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of these programs, while working collaboratively with cross-functional team members to ensure the programs deliver on intended business objectives.

The Marketing Communications Manager will help develop promotional and brand messaging campaigns that drives sales to healthcare practitioners and position Natura Health Products as a leader in the professional nutraceutical market. Our ideal candidate will collaborate in the development and design of email campaigns, collateral and quickly establish consistent and clear communications and graphics that speak to our customer’s unique needs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, from executing integrated online/offline marketing plans and implementing SEO/SEM, managing the marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. You'll develop ROI and KPI metrics for marketing campaigns, evaluate vendor solutions and manage those relationships, and identify areas for process and product improvement.

You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Objectives and Overall Responsibility

Your role is mission-critical to Natura Health Products – we understand the need to differentiate ourselves through the delivery of incomparable products built on exceptional formulations, combined with the delivery of a superior Practitioner and Patient experience.

You will be responsible for providing project ownership from concept through completion, including producing the design and production for websites, product graphics, social media ads and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates. While some projects may require directing external resources, the role is expected to be hands-on.

You will develop, manage and execute behavior- and event-triggered email communications utilizing Constant Contact. In addition, the Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for direct mail campaigns and other related initiatives.

You will collaborate on defining and executing marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging and communication.

You will assist in the planning and execution of ongoing activities to sustain awareness and drive profitable revenue, including running nurture and educational campaigns targeted to specific audience segments.

You will maintain Natura’s resources for current and prospective users, including EDU, blog posts, case studies, best practice guides, webinars, landing pages, tech sheets, research papers, and white papers will be an important area of responsibility.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Direct Marketing

  • Devise, create and deploy direct marketing and email campaigns to build demand and generate sales-qualified leads; in-line with Natura’s marketing and brand strategy, ensuring all campaigns are sent on time and within budget.
  • Analyze open email rates, click-through rates, and other performance metrics. Perform A/B testing of templates, subject lines, content, and other email components to identify improvements and optimize results.
  • Develop and implement email and SEO campaigns to build demand and sales-qualified leads.
  • Maintain lead database.

Design

  • Generate the internal collateral to enable our sales and client success teams to powerfully articulate what makes Natura Health Products so unique.
  • Design all company graphics including all sales and marketing materials such as catalogs, online banners, sales sheets, forms, research papers, white papers and other branded materials.
  • Work alongside marketing and product teams to develop point of sales materials.
  • Manage artwork to ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to with all marketing materials
  • Maintain digital filing system for all marketing documents, designs, and assets.
  • Maintain and update content and imagery on all printed and digital materials including product literature (product and tech sheets, research papers, catalog), product labels, company forms (order forms, price sheets, business cards, letterhead, etc.) and other marketing collateral

Digital Marketing

  • Maintain and update content on Natura websites (NaturaHealthProducts.com and NaturaEDU): image uploads, product info, pricing, out-of-stocks, promotions and blogs.
  • Develop and implement SEO campaigns across digital platforms.
  • Generate reports for Constant Contact email campaigns, GoToWebinar product trainings and educational webinars, and Google Analytics for both websites.

General Marketing / Project Management

  • Maintain and update Marketing Calendar and project tracking tool
  • Develop and implement complex, multi-level project calendars and production schedules
  • Coordinate collateral updates from print to product & EDU websites
  • Utilize skills in project management to lead change management processes.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes…What You Need

  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Business, Marketing or Communications degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Nutraceutical industry experience a Big Plus.
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading skills with expert attention to detail, often within tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence others internally and externally using verbal, print and electronic formats
  • Solid graphic design skills with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and high standard of excellence in all areas.
  • Extremely organized multi-tasker who loves to roll up their sleeves and get work done.
  • Ability to work independently and produce results with little supervision; while being a great team player.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in fast-paced environment.

Status: Full time salaried in-office position, exempt
